Em 2024, teria havido um incidente em que cybercriminosos teriam obtido acesso a dados de clientes do Evolve Bank, e, como minha antiga corretora no exterior (A***ue) tinha relações comerciais com esse banco, para disponibilizar certos serviços bancários, recebi um e-mail, ainda em 2024, dizendo que meus dados teriam sido comprometidos nesse ataque.
Este ano recebi um e-mail de uma empresa chamada Kroll Settlement dizendo que estava sendo proposta uma "Class Settlement" para ressarcimento. Pelo que entendi, nos EUA os escritórios de advocacia entram com essas ações mesmo sem ninguém os contratar diretamente. O fato é que me mandaram esse e-mail me dando opções e eu não sei o que faço. Pensei em ignorar completamente, mas tenho receio de que me cobrem custas e honorários depois. Alguém aqui também passou por isso?

If you object, you may also submit a Claim Form to receive a Class Settlement Benefit, and you will give up the right to sue the Defendant in any other lawsuit against Defendant relating to the Data Incident.
