Fazia muito tempo que não via essa expressão "red herring".

Significa algo irrelevante ou falso que distrai do assunto verdadeiramente importante.

Nível no Race: Tá ficando maluco igual o Bastter
My four cents on this:

1. Diversification is as important to energy infrastructure as it is for investments.

2. Extreme events are always a possibility.

3. In some cases there will be no solution. No energy company would prepare all its machinery for extreme weather without any financial compensation, and on the other hand, consumers usually find energy is expensive and would probably not be happy to pay an extra fee to have this kind of insurance.

4. Politicians will always be making their nasty politics. Articles blaming renewable sources for the outage were clearly supported by the Oil&Gas lobby.
