Summary:

The speaker is a polyglot, means she can speak many languages fluently. As she is a polyglot, everyone asking her to tell the secret to learn language. Then she decided to find what is in common in other polyglots all over the world which enabled to learn language faster. So she went to polyglots events and met other polyglots and asked about their method to learning a language. What she find out was that every one was having their unique method to learning a language. Someone starts speaking on day 1 even though there are 200 mistakes, and some other starts learning 500 most frequent words in that language and some other starts learning grammar of language. They all are not following a unique method to learn.
So then she find out 4 things that are common in every polyglot. Here are the four.

1. Enjoyable
They enjoy the language learning, they will feel happy when the first successfully communicates with native speakers without mistakes, they like learning process, they enjoy each and every step they follow. So to learn a language you have to enjoy that process instead of feeling bore.

2. Method
Choose a any method to learn vocabulary or to practice with native speakers or with yourself (self talk), if you don't know any methods simply go to google and search for some polyglots and they will explain their methods, if it works for them it also works for you mostly, pick a method that likes you and stick to it.

3. System
In our busy life, we don't have enough time to spend time to learn to a new language, you have to utilize your time properly and follow a schedule to practice it. Like listen to podcasts while driving, what YouTube videos while eating and reading while commuting and speaking with same language enthusiastic person for certain time on certain days.

4. Patience
Be patient until you can speak it fluently, definitely it will take time to learn a new language you have to stick with your methods without losing hope, definitely you will speak fluently, but time depends on you and how well you are giving time to practice it. So be patient don't loose hope because it's not a rocket science.

Key to learning new language:
Create a system and set of rules with a proper method, be patient and enjoy the entire process.

Vou postar uma dúvida porque realmente não sei o correto e meu objetivo não é te corrigir, mas sim aprender.

Quanto a sua primeira frase, o correto não seria: Want to learn a new language but ARE feeling daunted or unsure where to begin?

Great and inspiring video. And it's just this. Be patient, create a system that fits your routine, listen a lot and follow a method. 

Na minha experiência, não houve segredo ou método rigido, até nisso foi algo #pas. Sou poliglota, falo inglês, espanhol, português e francês. Aprendi isso simplesmente por meio da imersão na lingua estrangeira, como um bebê, eu costumava ver uma palavra e ao invés de traduzir buscava seu significado pesquisando a imagem correspondente, fiz isso rotineiramente e aconteceu com o tempo. O próximo agora é o alemão !

Adiciono que, essa experiência me retifica a ideia do bastter de que os espertos criam dificuldades para vender facilidade. Nesse caso, é muito comum a criação de "métodos" e jeitos que funcionam. A única coisa que me fez aprender foi o tempo e a paciência, o método foi literalmente o mais simples possível, foi jogar um videogame e buscar o significado das expressões, ler um livro, ver um filme... foi uma repetição extremamente tediosa mas que com o tempo te leva a uma excelente fluidez. Mas as pessoas buscam formula magica para tudo e isso é um prato cheio para os maliciosos.

Eu falo inglês e espanhol e estou aprendendo russo no momento, acho que em 6 meses de estudos diários estou no level A2, indo pro B1. Eu acho que cada língua exige variações de aprendizado. Por exemplo, inglês foi meio que espontâneo por estar em todo lugar e eu ter aula na escola. Espanhol fiz 6 meses de conversação semanal com uma nativa e vendo muitas séries e lendo livros de gramática. Russo está sendo bem diferente, o alfabeto foi fácil e ler tb, pois os sons não são mt diferentes dos nossos, agora estou quase 'dominando' todos os casos de forma satisfatória (são 6), o maior desafio está sendo absorver vocabulário, pois são palavras mts diferentes e difíceis de se lembrar. Mas o que vejo em comum em todos, é o tempo, vc vai maturando as ideias e conceitos e aprendendo um pouco cada dia, uma hr vc nem percebe e tá entendendo e falando. Embora seja importante entender que algumas vao exigir mais tempo q outras.

Tá bem coloquial aqui. Deveria ter um DO no início da frase. O mais correto seria:

Do You want to learn a new language but (you) feel daunted or unsure where to begin?

se fosse acrescentar o ARE como vc falou....eu colocaria: (...) but YOU ARE feelING daunted (...)

veja que a frase interrogativa é com o DO, fazendo referência a aprender uma nova língua. Em seguida, ele faz uma possível afirmação que vc está sentindo-se perdido.....
