It seems the British flag is not only good looking, but also full of meaning.

Oh, and apparently there's a right way to fly that flag. I mean the actual flag, of course. You most certainly can show your support for the United Kingdom in any number of ways :)

By the time the Act of Union was enacted in 1706, unifying the kingdoms of England and Scotland under one kingdom of Great Britain, Wales had already been part of the kingdom of England for around 150 years, so it is on the flag by default. I imagine how the Welsh red dragon would fit there.
