alguns insights bem legais principalmente o 3 e do 9 para o final
nao precisa concordar com todos
nao precisa fazer todos
nao precisa ser perfeito
nao precisa ser chato
e muitos falamos aqui
mas reforça coisas q podem melhorar sua vida
1.) RUSHING - Slow down to go fast. Eliminate unnecessary commitments. Do less. Focus on quality, not quantity. Life is better when its unrushed.
2.) PROCRASTINATING/OVERTHINKING - Accept what you do not have control over and then practice being more decisive. The world rewards people who take action.
3.) WATCHING CABBLE NEWS - I get it. You're worried you'll be uninformed, but the media today is designed to scare, distract and divide us. If something really important happens, you'll hear about it.
4.) EATING PROCESSED CARBS - When 71% of people age 20+ are overweight, (CDC), perhaps you should do the opposite of what they do. There's nothing wrong with treating yourself sometimes, but limit things like breakfast cereal, chips, & foods that come in a box
5.) CONSUMING VEGETABLE OILS- Vegetable oils are poison and they're hidden everywhere. Educate yourself.
6.) WORKING A JOB YOU HATE - Life is way too short to work a job you hate—especially in this economy. Don't quit cold turkey, but start looking around.
7.) ENDLESSLY SCROLLING SOCIAL MEDIA- There's nothing wrong with an occasional break, but most of you are going to regret wasting so much time. There's much better ways to use your time. Read a book, exercise, connect with someone, make something.
8.) BEING TO PROUDO TO ASK FOR HELP - Don't be too prideful to ask for help. Nobody gets to the top alone. Sherpas guide people up Mr. Everest. At the end of most great books is an acknowledgements page that thanks 50 people. That’s not a coincidence.
9.) NEEDING TO BE RIGHT - ESTA É A MELHOR
@JamesClear
is 100% spot on with this tweet. It can be hard sometimes, but internalize this advice.
10.) - CARING ABOUT THE OPINIONS OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T MATTER - The world is full of haters and crabs trying to drag you back into the bucket. They're projecting their own insecurities. Keep leveling up and pay them no mind.
11.) - COMPLAINING - If you can't change it, stop worrying about it. If you can, then take the first step, but stop complaining. There's no greater waste of time and it'll simultaneously make you unhappy and awful to be around. The opposite of complaining is gratitude.
12.) - MAKING EXCUSES - Stop making excuses and start making changes. Whether it's fear of failure, the unknown, or something else, it's time to take personal responsibility and stop making excuses. You know what you have to do. Get started on the most important task.
13.) - AVOIDING YOUR PROBLEMS - You're avoiding the difficult thing you should be doing. Distracting yourself is not the cure. Problems are not usually as bad as the story you're telling yourself. Face your problems, determine the next best action and take it.
If you only stop doing a handful of the things on this list, your life will dramatically improve this year.
